Googling your own name is of course a vile sign of self-obsession, and I shall probably feel thoroughly ashamed in the morning.

I became the first result for just my first name.
I now have an anonymous weblog...

I am number four and also number five. Does this mean that:
a) I am actually number nine?
b) I am trying less or more hard?
c) There are just too many people in the world with my name and I should change it to something more exotic?

Now that's just plain confusing - I can't make myself come out at number six at all.
In the process I tried searching 'Cheerful One', and discovered that I am number one, two, three and five.
Some people just spend too much time on the inter-ma-net.
